How It Helps In Shoots
A strip box gives you a long, thin source - exactly the shape you want for a rim on a shoulder, a vertical highlight down a bottle, or a clean gradient along a wall. Its narrow face means very little spill onto the background.
It is the standard second or third light on a portrait setup, and the fastest way to give products a defined specular edge that reads as premium.
